Creative Curriculum®, STREAM, and A Beka for Kindergarten
Today's standards and curriculum for first grader students require an increasing amount of academic work that sometimes challenges children. The latest research in early childhood learning is incorporated into The Creative Curriculum® - a forward-thinking curriculum that honors creativity and makes learning exciting and relevant for every child. Our Kindergarten program incorporates the Loudoun County Standards of Learning. All our Kindergarten programs incorporate weekly music, chapel and library time. Children also enjoy teacher-directed SPARK (Sports, Play and Active Recreation for Kids) fitness. We help children to engage in a rich array of learning experiences that develop the essential prerequisites for school and academic readiness. We credit the success of our Kindergarten programs to our exceptional teachers, unique curriculum and a nurturing yet challenging environment that helps children feel confident and ready for school. Our program also offers a STREAM based curriculum: combining traditional areas of development such as Reading, Religion, Arts, and Math, with more relevant concepts such as Science, Technology, and Engineering.
Our Full-Day Kindergarten program uses the A Beka Book® curriculum. Full-day kindergarten students will learn language arts (phonics, reading, writing and poetry), science, math, social studies, bible and arts & crafts using the A Beka Book K5 Five-Year-Old Kindergarten Program. The A Beka curriculum approach to education keeps learning lively, interesting and memorable. Materials reflect sensible theory that is firmly anchored to practical application. Our students who graduate from this program have a firm foundation in learning and are well prepared for first grade.

A Partnership with Parents
Ongoing communication is key to our trusted partnership. Each week, you'll receive a newsletter from our Director to keep you updated on
important news regarding the school, our programs and classrooms. Also, each teacher will send out a weekly newsletter about their classroom activities.
We always welcome and enjoy conversations with parents about your child's progress at home and keeping you informed of all developmental milestones.
