We want to specifically mention how happy we have been with the Monkeys. Ms. Ivanete and Ms. Brenda have taken such great care of our daughter. They have potty trained her and she is SO smart - coming home singing songs, counting her ABC and numbers. She's so aware and curious about what's going on around her and socially she is just thriving. This has a lot to do with your curriculum and the comfort and support both teachers have provided. We also want to mention Ms. Ena- our daughter talks about her all the time in a positive light so she clearly has also made an impact. ~Kelly, LOA Alumni Parent
Where do I start..... Leesburg Open Arms is in a class by itself. My first child attended Leesburg Open Arms for about 3 years and is now in 4th grade. My now 4 year old son is also attending. This Child Care Facility has been like family to us. Believe me when I say no one else has ever watched any of my kids besides myself, my husband and the staff at LOA. I find it difficult to trust people especially with my children. My children love LOA and if someone like me can trust LOA, then please know that they are in a whole league by themselves.
I am a tough critic and very hard to satisfy (my standards are very high) especially when it comes to my children. LOA blows my mind Everytime with high standards. They have not just been there for my kids but they understand my heart. They really know me. Ms. Ellen, Courtney and the Staff know me and understand and respect my family.
If you are considering sending your kids to a child care facility, please look no further. Ask my husband, I am the toughest critic in town. This place calms my nerves because there truly is a giant beating heart filled with honest warmth and compassion at LOA.
Thank you LOA for setting and exceeding expectations. - Anna, LOA Parent
Our son has attended Leesburg Open Arms for more than three years. He absolutely loves it there, and thinks of his teachers and friends as his second family. The teachers are top notch, and the director, Ms. Ellen, is a very present, very caring leader. We are especially excited about the addition of their science lab this year. LOA is a wonderful, warm place where your child will thrive. - Mary, LOA Parent
My son, 4 years old, has been here since the beginning of the school year. I am an extremely anxious mom, who is always worried about him getting hurt or neglected, etc...but this place has made me feel a lot calmer. They can't cure my crazy, there isn't enough money :) He is in Ms. Debbie's class, and we LOVE her. She's sweet, she KNOWS my boy and his personality. We had an amazing in home daycare from 8 weeks-4 years that we loved and couldn't imagine leaving, but I'm so glad we did. He's matured so much, and is learning so much it amazes me. We're extremely happy here. - Jaclyn, LOA Parent
The staff is so caring for the well-being of our kids. They want to see them flourish every day. Classroom sizes are not overwhelming. Highly recommend. - Rebecca, LOA Parent
My daughter was going to another daycare for almost 4 years and we had a dreadful experience with them, now she joined Open Arms in 2015 after being in a very unstable environment, we have had nothing but a wonderful experience each day since. Everyone here is professional and caring, my daughter refuses to leave the building because she is enjoying and learning a lot. She started Kindergarten and we had a wonderful experience with the group of children who love their teacher Mrs. Brookye. She is so happy to go to school each morning "amazing". The addition of religion in her every day life has been a very positive change in our lives. I am happy and thankful that I have found this school!!!!. Ms. Ellen is very involved with the children and wants what's best for us "families". I undoubtedly recommend Leesburg Open Arms as an option for your family. - Jenny, LOA Parent
My two children joined Open Arms in 2014 after being at an in-home daycare settings that unfortunately closed. We have had nothing but a wonderful experience each day since. Everyone on site knows our children's name and my daughter can't leave the building until she has hugged her favorite teachers goodbye. My son started in the infants room and we had a wonderful experience with the group of caregivers who loved him as their own. He still gets so happy to see them each morning. The addition of religion in their every day leanings has been such a sweet experience. I am happy that they are both building this foundation so young. Ms. Ellen is very hands on and has only the parents & children's best interest in mind. LOA also does a great job providing the option of additional activities outside of the daily routine. I certainly recommend LOA as an option for your family. - Emily, LOA Parent
Both of my kids have attended LOA since they were infants. My son is now in their K enrichment program and my daughter is in the 2's room. I can't say enough good things about this school. The staff is excellent and the programs are as well. My kids love this place and so do we. - Jessica, LOA Parent
We love this place, it's like a second family. The amount of learning is amazing! All of the staff are great with the kids (you only need to see the children's annual art show to see how well they are nurtured). I will be very sad when my son's time there comes to an end. Ellen the director offers such great "outside" activities too... piano lessons, soccer, Lego technology, ballet..... If you haven't checked it out you should!!! - Gretchen, LOA Parent
My boys started attending LOA last fall and I'm kicking myself for not enrolling them sooner. I wasted my time at other day cares and preschools but I've never had the feeling I get with the kids in LOA. It's a great place and my boys have learned so much there. They're almost all in school full time and when they get there, we're going to miss our LOA family. - Jeanmarie, LOA Parent
