This is the last week of our Summer program. We've had an incredible Summer with lots of fun events and activities plus special guests who visited LOA with reptiles, science experiments, puppet shows and many, many more. I'm sure the children will take away many memories for years to come.
Our theme this week is the World's Fair. Step right up! Our children will join the fun at the WORLD'S FAIR - LOA style! There will be loads of fun for all with games, prizes and plenty of excitement! Check with your child's teacher for details. On our last day, Friday, August 30th, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM we will have our LOA End-of-Summer Party, and we will also be celebrating LOA's 5th birthday. Please come join us for some birthday cake and some fun activities, like face painting, a moon bounce, games and music. A fun time will be had by all!
This is our last week for this school year and I'm proud of all of our children who will be advancing to the
next level especially our Kindergartners. On Thursday and Friday many of our older students will be transitioning to their new classrooms. They will be moving to their new class along with their cubby to be ready for the new school year starting Tuesday, September 3rd. Parents, for those children who are
moving, please remember to pick up your child in their current classroom on Friday and on Tuesday drop them off in their new classroom.
This summer our children enjoyed the "Road Trip Through the Ten Commandments". For Chapel this week we will do a review of all the Commandments.
Staff Changes: We have a couple more changes this week.
- Ms Evie and Ms Kelsey have left LOA.
- Ms Kelly will be leaving us at the end of this week to continue her studies in College.
- We are actively looking for qualified Christian teachers to help support our overall staffing.
One last reminder is that LOA is closed on Labor Day, Monday, September 2nd.
PS. Apologies for the one day delay on this week's newsletter. I was in Illinois enjoying looking after my two granddaughters for the weekend.
